Ligare Pty Ltd is the largest specialist book and journal printer in New South Wales. Ligare has recently merged with another specialist book printer, Southwood Press, which allows Ligare the ability to deliver both greater economies of scale and range of printing solutions. Ligare’s representatives and technical support department can help you choose the best options for the outcomes you desire.

Ligare is a softcover printer, hardcover printer, journal printer, digital book printer; offset book printer, short-run magazine printer, legal book and legal sheet printer.

Since 1979 Ligare has been widely recognised as a knowledgeable and reliable book and journal printer and binder. Ligare can take the electronic file you supply and produce a publication to your required specifications from beginning to end on site at our Riverwood premises.

Ligare's goal has always been to build long term relationships with our customers by listening, understanding and wherever possible exceeding our customer needs. Ligare's history

Ligare is Latin for ‘bind’ which indicates Ligare’s origins as a bindery to the printing industry. In 1979 Richard Celarc, Ligare’s current Executive Chairman, was one of the founding partners of the bindery in Sydney. Over the subsequent 30 years one building grew to five buildings joined together, and one case-binding line grew to a plant which now offers:

• case-binding and hand-finishing;
• two integrated paperback binding lines;
• mono, two colour, four colour and five colour offset sheet presses;
• 3 web offset presses; digital sheet printers;
• digital web printer;
• a mailing service and warehousing facilities.

Today Ligare is refurbishing the main plant (138-152 Bonds Rd) in a 3 stage development. The Ligare Digital Print Facility has now been established in a new space in the main plant with an increased digital printing and binding soltuions capacity.

In May 2007 Knox Investment Partners joined Ligare to support the new phase of growth the company is now experiencing. Knox supports the company’s values of supplying the best quality production, customer service excellence, cost-effective processes which help deliver a customer-oriented pricing policy, timely delivery, commitment to the environment and safe and supportive working environment for its employees.

Ligare is now a member of OPUS Print Group.
